On 21.08.2022, a homeless, visually impaired and low-income resident of Minuwangoda area in the Gampaha District participated in the program "Hith Illana Tharu" telecasted by Swarnavahini TV channel. The Hony. President of our organization and the Group, who watched the program felt sensitive with the difficulties faced by Mr. W. Bandula and his family members especially the fact that they are currently living in a temporary house with minimal facilities. Accordingly, a quick decision was taken to ensure the future security of this family, i.e. Mr. Bandula, his visually impaired wife and their little daughter by providing shelter.

Accordingly, a philanthropist from the Minuwangoda area who watched the above program donated 10 perches of land. In that land located in Ballapana area of Minuwangoda, our Dozen Group Charity Organization decided to spend nearly 4.5 million to build a house with two bedrooms with an area of nearly 500 square feet inclusive of a living room, a dining room, an attached bathroom. On 18.09.2022 the foundation stone was layed according auspicious time.

We have made arrangements to complete this house with all residential facilities within a month and to donate same to Mr. Bandula.
